My camera will not take pictures withought blurring up the photo. It appears that it takes two at once for it.

The camera is a Olympus Camedia C-7000 7.1 mega pixels. Everytime I take a picture in any mode (M,S,A,P), it makes the clicking noise twice, and takes two photos, but blends them together as one. The picture appears very blurry. The only way to solve the problem that I know of is to turn on flash. However, this sometimes ruins the photo. Is there anyway to solve this problem? I know that when I had first bought it, it worked perfectly. Is there a way to restore factory defaults? Thanks for your answers.

I've had the same problem when the battery was low. It could be that the battery is not charging properly and needs to be replaced. See if you can borrow a battery from someone to try it before you buy a battery.
