Question:

My cameras flash is too bright ?

okay, so i don't know much about cameras , so i dont really know what im talking about .. but anyways , i bought a new camera around a year ago, and i never used it before until two days ago . when i turn the flash off, its too dark but with the flash on, its way too bright and the picture comes out white. im not sure if theres an ajustment on the flash, but the camera is really confusing and i don't know how to work it. the brand name is centrios? any help ?

  1. also check your exposure compensation levels, something that look like "EV + 2.0"  - the higher the number, the brioghter the picture will be (and more noise).


  2. hmm... Try looking at your settings on the camra. You might be able to lower the flash.

  3. What type of camera is it, is it a D-SLR or a compact?

    For D-SLR you can adjust the flash level.

    As for a compact. that function might also be available. But there are other things you can try. ISO setting and white balance can also affect the brightness of the photos.
