  1. ok, well i went to a lake one day and saw these people cutting fish up to eat.

well 1 cut of the head right were the like gill things are.

then cut a line under its tummy from head to fin. then you will take a like scooper and scoop out the insides. then you open it and take ou the bones and the rest of the insides, and skin if you want to. you put foil around it with butter so it dosent stick with flavoring. and over a fire for mabey 30 minutes, you will have to chek on it tought make sure it dosent burn.

  2. well some games to bring could be-horseshoes, it may seem borin but once u start to play its fun.also bad mitten football-duh-baseball. if u have a jet ski and/or boat bring them. go intertubin!!!and ur fixin to be 17 how could u not no how to skin and gut a fish?- i am a 12 year old girl and i no how- b/c i watched my popaw do it. well good luck and hope u have fun. hope i helped!!

  3. Sounds like you guys will have a lot of fun. I would, however leave the fish cooking to another time.    Why don't you guys BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers.  Super easy and fast.  Bring cereal and milk for breakfast and cold cuts/bread for lunch.  Don't forget to bring water and of course snacks.  IF you are going to fish you'll most likely need a fishing license.  Here in Ca. once you are 16 you need a license. Have fun.  Make sure you tell your parents exactly where you'll be camping, just in case something happens.

bring chairs, a hatchet, matches, plenty of water

a grate from the grill, aluminum foil for the fish, after you clean them, put some salt and any other seasonings you might like, lemon juice is good too, you can also just wrap the fillets in the foil and throw them in the hot coals for 20 minutes approximately. You want to make sure the fish is cooked! its important because fish carry parasites and if its not completely cooked you can get them.  Dont forget bug spray, when your campin, mosquitos can get crazy. The best way to learn what to bring is to go, and when you're there. You'll say "oh, i shoulda brought...." and you can bring it next time.

Have fun though man, take it easy.

  5. find pans at the local Goodwill, don't count on surviving on what you catch,  mac and cheese in a box, P.B. and J., hot dogs.  figure out how you are gonna put a pan on the fire (hint: keep the fire very small) and have enough spare firewood so you don't go off in the dark grabbing stuff on the ground,   bring dish cleaning supplies, a plastic dish pan, a scrubber, dish soap, a large water container, spoons and stuff, night lights, bear bite repair kit, bug repell., a lighter, a grill for the fire, a radio for weather reports. Can opener, don't forget the can opener!  An ice chest would be a luxury.  A fillet knife for cleaning the fish. Make that a real little knife and a magnifing lens.  hahahaha you gonna starve!  Seriously, you'll have a great time and learn a lot.  Don't expect it to be perfect. We all learn from making mistakes.
