  1. If water he/ she drinks is the same water you drink, the cause of his/ her diarrhea is probably not his/ her water. I don't think there 's sth wrong about his food too, but you could try to feed him/ her sth else and notice if he/ she is better. I 'd say he// she is ill. If he/ she is still ill after 3 days, you can take him/ her to a vet. A canary that has diarrhea may have a cold or other disease.

  2. cleann the birrd

  3. first of all, take a cotton ball dipped in warm water to clean the bird... he needs to be able to poo... extremely important.  then call an avian vet.  what you think is diarrhea may be normal for him... or it may be water or food as you suspect.  but the vet is your real source of info here.  Good luck.

  4. any animal that has a diearrhea for a long period of time is dehydrated too. Most people think that they shold change the food to more dense(harder) but that is not correct. Maybe it can be that you have changed her food or something. If you can take her to the vet where they can see what is causing the diarrhea and if she is dehydrated they will give her some fluid and some medicine. See if you can give her some water thry a suringe but take her to the vet asap. it shouldnt be expencive.

Good luck and please keep me posted what happened. Till you take her to the vet keep her warm.

  5. clean the birds butt and call a vet there is a virus that causes it thats when you can tell if there sick because the 4 things you look for on a bird is

1 p**p on the tell fethers

2 red around the eyes and nosterils

    3 runny nose

    4 snezzing and not eating

  6. First of all, clean the bird off. The diarrhea may be cause by something he ate, or maybe his insides just aren't agreeing. Wouldn't you want to get p**p of ur butt if u were a bird? Then, i would call the vet, and let them check it out, you can never be to carefull.
