  1. bad compresser or clogg

  2. Was it empty before recharged? If so, and it was not evacuated, you now have refrigerant and air in the system=warm.

    Is it overcharged?

    Is the compressor running?

Is the air handler changing from heat to air?

  3. Do you have high and low pressure gauges both on it or are you just using the cheapo fillup gauge on the low side. Without knowing the high side pressure while the compressor is running it is difficult to diagnose.

  4. It may be overcharged. If the pressure is too high or to low, the compressor will not come on. The clutch will not engage. If the clutch engages, then you've got a problem inside the compressor. You can't just throw R134 into these systems and expect them to work.

  5. Make sure the compressor is working

  6. several reasons if you over charge it the compressor stops, or you might have a bad A/C dryer, or the compressor is broken

  7. you will have to have a licensed a/c shop remove all the air in the system. They hook up a vaccuum pump which also removes all moisture in it. with no air in the a/c lines they can properly fill it with the right amount of freon.

  8. check fuses, if fuses arent blown is the compressor coming on? if compressor isn't comming on it could be the low pressure switch.
