my car battery goes flat when i connect my car amp it is all connected but as soon as i turn the car over it starts to go flat but when i disconnect it the car will start

  1. Yes it looks like your amp is using too much of your cars power you will need to buy a capicator which will help alot and should even make your sound system sound better .


  2. You numpty!!

    You have to use a live form the vehicle that turns off when you switch off the vehicle.  If you connect to the battery then the amp is on all the time.

  3. the amp is drawing power when the ignition isnt on you may need to uprate the battery or not let the amp run when the engine isnt running.

  4. id probably get it checked out or get a new battery cause somethings happininthats not right

  5. Yea check those two out first make sure they are working right if you live anywhere near an autozone. They will check both for free you just have to get your car there.

  6. Well either the battery is knackered or your Alternator isn't charging , it needs checking out with a battery tester and volt meter
