My car broke down and i dont no wats wrong?

lets see well i was drive my car 5 mins away from home i had the aircon on and then i seen my gages it went to hot so then i pulled over and it wasn't steaming or linking from the bottom but the container where the coolant goes in it was bubble up then i drove home then the battery light went on so then i let it cool off for 3 hours and drove it around the block and it went to hot again people are saying i need a new engine i don't no someone out there help me

sounds like you might have broken a fan belt.

first guess would be a broken fan belt....

check the belts see if any r off or broken sounds like u blew 1 cus it sounds like ur water pump and ur alternator r not turning highly doubt full u blew engine and then restarted it lol if it is belt then repair should be around 50 at a shop (depending on belt type and price)

Could be anything.If you are with RAC or AA then ask them.

When did you last get it serviced?

Check the fan belt.

Could be the thermostat for the coolane or the battery....who knows.

could be a number of things . fan motor,bad thermostat, clogged radiator. bad radiator cap. broken serpentine belt
