My car broke down!! i need some advice..?

i have a 1997 mitsubishi galant 2.4 liter and i took it to the mechanic and hes charging me 700 for replacing my distributor and a tune up (and i think the distributor is included).is that a fair , good price.for some reason i think its too much..

i live in san diego just maby it depends were u live idk..

  2. ask your mechanic to go to h**l. It very very expensive

  3. The price for your distributor in the midwest is about $400.00. So with that, labor, and a complete tune up your price is right in the ballpark.  

  4. That does sound a little pricey for all that but your probably getting a good deal on it.

  5. it depends on what a tune up cost.if you think it cost too much you can do it yourself.
