My car didn't pass inspection in NH due to the third brake light not working and also I needed new front tires. I fix the problems myself which doesn't seem like the car dealer that performed the inspection liked very much. When I first talk to the guy he told that the car needed the light and tires replaced, once that was done they would give me the sticker. Yesterday I went and now he is telling me tha in order to give me the sticker they have to hook the car to the computer again. I just don't trust that place. Since my car has been fixed, can I bring it somewhere else for inspection?

  1. He is correct about having to hook it back up to the computer.

It is the computer that prints out the inspection sticker.  It has to go through the routines - even if he knows it will pass.

    Good Luck...
