It's a W reg Daewoo Matiz, and the inside fans don't work - hot or cold.

Any ideas why not?

  1. it could be the switch itself, change it and see if it works.

  2. check blower motor fuse

check if it works on speed 4-  if it does the problem is the resistor block, if not its probably the blower motor which can be confirmed by a mechanic or auto sparky

  3. Because it's a Daewoo

  4. First of all you need to check if electric fuse for the fans are properly installed and functional, Normally there is a fuse box near the steering wheel. Also you can consult the manual.

If fuse are correct then the problem might be in the fans it self, either it a broken connection or a faulty fan. Also the fans buttons might be faulty (although i doubt it as it wont be be for both the fans)  If you have technical knowledge and tools to open the dashboard then you can look for yourself. If not, you might have to visit your local mechanic.

  5. yeh u might need 2 take it 2 a mechanic 2 refill the thing with gas so that the heater and the air-con can work

its usually that.... if its not that then i hav no idea take it 2 a machanic.....

    peace

  6. need a new blower motor it's under the hood passager side on fire wall
