My car didn't have insurance and my girlfriend got pulled over. She also doesn't have a permit or license. So my car got towed and now there's a court hearing on it. Will I get affected because I wasn't the driver?

  1. Yup, you own the car, so if she did any damage, YOU'D be sued, so in this case, YOU WILL BE FINED

  2. you mean beside the large tow bill.. fine for no  insurance .. court cost shouldnt be more than a few thousand.... might lose the car who know but its going to be high i bet

  3. Yes, you will get fined because you owned the car, and you didn't have insurance which makes it worse. Driving without insurance is illegal, I think. And for your girlfriend, driving without a permit or license is also illegal.

  4. She will get the fine or whatever the consequence is.  You will not get any fine or points on your license, but someone has to pay the towing and storage fee.

  5. she doesn't have a license OR permit and you let her drive your car? WOW.

i'm pretty sure you will still be considered partially responsible
