  1. You should be able to take it back for almost any reason at only 6000, mile's I mean if the tire went bad you should be able to take it back.

  2. Yes, everything is covered providing the damage was not due to a rodent.  Check the engine compartment for signs of mice, rats, or squirrels.

    * * *

  3. Most likely YES but you can always consult your warranty booklet. It comes with all the stuff they give you when you buy the car.

  4. That check engine light could go on for any reason. It might even just be an electrical short.. you really have to take it in to know. :/

  5. Check to see if your gas cap is on tight.  It could just be a  small thing like a polution control valve.  If you go back to the dealer it should be still under warrenty.

  6. Get to a dealer, it will be covered.  Why didn't you just call the dealer to find out.

  7. yes. emission related issues are covered.

    Good luck

  8. You have one answer that indicates that it could be the fuel cap. A vehicle this new, that is most likely the cause.

    But if it isn't, you should know the emissions portion of the warranty will indeed cover the repairs.

    HOWEVER- - The dealer may well legally charge you for the diagnostics to determine the cause of the light. Not all dealers do charge, but be prepared for that event. It is legal.

  9. yes everything is covered on it for now,but like the other answer said check the gas cap that will make the light come on also,good luck.

  10. Hyundai does not have the best reputation for warrantying anything, but just remember this when it comes to "is it covered by warranty?"

    If it is a manufacturing defect, then it should be covered.  Simple as that.

    If the hose comes loose, it's covered.  If a rat chews it up, not covered.
