My car has a bad vibration when I reach 70 mph. What could be causing this?

  1. It could be that you need a wheel alignment.  I had the same problem about a year ago, and once I had the alignment done, I never had the problem again.


  2. lots of things!, like a belt came loose in a tire, bad tie rod or ball joint, tires needs balanced, out of alighnment, bad shocks or struts. check those things out.

  3. a tire out of balance more than likely.

  4. Need to have the make and model of vehicle if it is a Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive vehicle. Check tire balance, loose or broken mounts, drive lines. Have the vehicle road tested by a tire shop first, these are normally free vs the dealership. And then get a second repair shop to road test the vehicle, not saying what was found on the first road test.

  5. A few things, but probably a tire is not quite balanced. It could also be a bent wheel. Check these things first. Probably not alignment.
