I have a lime green beetle and here lately i've been noticing ants in it. Yesterday, there were so many in it that i wanted to take it and trade it in. Any idea why or how to get them out? Can i de-fog a car? Could the color play a factor in why they keep getting in it.

My husbands car sits close to mine and there aren't any in his. It's silver. Do i need a silver car? lol.

  1. You have probably got something sweet in the car that attracts them. Remove it and the problem will disappear.

  2. first of all where are they going to......as the first answer...you may have something sweet hidden....find and remove...

however, I have seen ants especially black ants get attracted to certain types of lubes and grease.....if the ants are in the underbody area of the car, you may have blown a bearing or a u joint may be blown....and the ants are leading there....thus take it to a shop...and get it fixed.

one way or another you need to find where trotting to!

    good luck!
