When the car is going forward an annoying squeaking noise happens. It sounds like when a car has bad brakes and it squeaks when it stops, except in my case, it squeaks when i drive it and stops squeaking when the car is stopped. Sounds like im dragging some metal thing behind my car when i drive it (but im not!) My power fluid is filled, my oil was changed about a month ago, its a 2004 corolla, automatic, got it last year, i was the first owner (the dealer used the car for himself). it squeaks even if my car is rolling in neutral down a hill. any ideas on what it could be??

  1. Good be the brakes. Get your brakes fixed at the first sign of trouble...it is cheaper than letting them go....they wear out and all those parts cost a lot.

  2. fan belt love. like £10 to fix yourself. get it fixed soon though cos if it snappes you buggered lol

  3. Brakes. They sit in a metal housing that can slip and drag across the rotor. Once the brake is applied, the pad (the brake itself) goes against the rotor and stops the noise. Have the brake pads checked.

Hey Me Me M-you should kill yourself.

  4. it s your breaks,  Its called a squeaker tab and it lets you know your brakes are worn, it does it as you drive too!

  5. its a problem with one of your belts, check for tears or if its loose, im pretty sure your gonna have to get it changed
