like whenever i push the brake to stop at a stop sign or stop light, most of the time it will die.. what do u think is wrong with my car?

and about how much do u think it would be to get it fixed?

  1. After battery is replaced the computer needs to relearn idle. May need to take to shop. Just letting it idle for a while should have taken care of it. Did a shop replace the battery? If so they should have known this.

  2. get the altenator checked also it might not be charging properly

  3. Try cleaning the throttle body.

  4. You should be able to take it to a auto parts store and they will USUALLY check the codes and can tell you why the check engine light comes on. If there is a code, it will store it in memory, so they will still be able to tell you why the light is (was) on.

When was the last time your fuel filter was replaced?
