Question:

My car makes a rubbing/ grinding noise when i drive, it is not the tires rubbing..what else could it be?

it started making this noise when i got my new rims on 20's but from what i see the tires aren't rubbing

  1. Its your suspension and axles. Its not tuned for tires of that size.

    You are damaging your axles each time you drive.

    Replace it with regular tires, or get the suspension tuned professionally

  4. check the brakes! disk brakes are made to drag on the rotor, if you have a bad or hanging pad, it will grind, squeal, and give you a "bumpy" brake pedal.
