  1. First off it would be very easy to take the battery out and take it to a parts store and have it tested for free. Why don't you do that first and then put in the new battery and then we can go from there. You can e-mail me for more help.

  2. Check the connections to the battery.  The cable clamps might be loose or dirty.  Failing that, the battery might be weak because it is old or the alternator is shot and is not charging the batterty properly.

If the clamps are loose, sometimes you can get the car to start by wiggling the connectors enough to get a sufficient contact.  But if the clamps were loose it maybe was not charging properly either and might be half dead.  Might not be a big deal, go to a mechanic.  Worse case is the battery and the alternator is shot, then it will be a ride down Big Bucks Boulevard for you.

The car is only 7 years old so I would first suspect the battery if it is still the original battery... you should not be having starter problems at this point.

  3. Depends could be starter or battery take it to your local mechanic theyll tell you the problem

  4. it could be different things, like a bad battery, the battery ends might need cleaning and tighten, the starter could be stuck(tap against the starter with something like a small hammer, they stick sometimes), or the starter solenoid might be sticking.

  5. Sounds a lot like starter

  6. Check and tighten your battery cables (if they are corroded, mix water and baking soda and clean them )..but it does sound like your starter is going out.
