My car produces oil from the exhaust.what problem?

  2. There's two possible causes for oil coming out of the exhaust. If you notice a lot of smoke after you idle for awhile, it's most likely the valve guides. You won't see smoke while you're driving.

    If on the other hand it smokes while you are driving, then it's probably your piston rings.

  3. Are you sure its oil? My 99 mustang drips water out of my exhaust but the water is black from just being an old car. If you are SURE its oil...then it's a very very bad thing. Blown gasket or something.
