My A/C was working before my radio was stolen. I assume some of the wires for the A/C in the dash got disconnected or broken. How can i go about fixing the A/C? Which wires need to be connected in the dash? Where can I take it to be fixed for a cheap price?

  1. It is most likely the blower for the A/C is not working, the blower motor should not be on the same circuit for the radio, but it might be. I believe a wire(s) have short circuited blowing the fuse. First I would isolate all the wires and tape each one off, then I would check the fuse box, look for the obvious ones, like "A/C or Heater Blower" your owners manual, if you have it should help identify what fuses to check, sometimes they are just numbered and you have to look them up.

    edit:

There should be more fuses under the hood, these are main fuses, and other major accessory fuses, you should check those as well

  2. first make sure no wires are touching in the place where your radio used to be. then check all of your fuses-under hood and inside fuse panels.it may only be a fuse from the robbers shorting out the wires when tearing it out. if that dont work they could be disconnected from the controls on your heater-a/c panel on your dash. try this stuff before you call your local garage.
