  1. super unleaded is about 89/91 octane.  there is no regular gas now, its all regular unleaded and that's what I assume you're talking about.  You'll pay for it eventually in the fact that you will have excessive carbon build up around the valves and around the rings and you'll start burning oil.  Don't do it.

  2. I't will run ok. I't might lack some performance. I put regular in my LS1 V8 once by mistake, and it ran fine.

  3. I'd say they mean it. A lower octane rating may cause detonation.  Enough of that, and you can kiss that engine goodbye.

High performance cars require better fuel.  If it would start, my race car  would blow apart on pump gas.

  4. nothing will happen really ... in many cases you will not see any differents at all.... sorry but not every car is the same and either is the gas you buy ... and really the only way of knowing what gas is best is by trying other type and brands... so one brand say like shell high octane might run the same as mobil regular.... its the mileage you need to know which gets you the best miles per tank is the gas you want to use.... and it will vary between brands and types.... and best you stay a way from E85 its the lowest octane which is not what anyone needs in their car.. ive been driving almost 40 yrs and have been working on cars pretty much as long... you check by using  the brand or type you always do and set the mileage or write it down when you use that try another and write it down again  and when your done with that subtract then you will know how far you got out of each the one that got you the best miles is what you should get .. if you read it is recommended that you use a high octane it doesnt say you have too it will not do damage to the motor but it might cost you some performance and mileage which you dont need....here is some reading on it
