try spitting on it and tossing salt over your left shoulder

The best way to dry out the seat is to leave the windows open on a sunny day. Another way is to turn the heat on high, with the windows up and let it run for a while.

I would get a vacuum that will take water & suck out as much moisture as possible before leaving windows open on a sunny day.

you can wash the upholstery with a mixture of upholstery cleaner and vinegar. the vinegar's acidity will kill any mildew and the smell will fade shortly.
