I own an '02 Ford Taurus SE. recently, my car had a problem getting started. soon, i figured the problem was the alternator, so, i had it replaced. now the car works fine. one day later, my car started sounding like a helicopter making a loud clanking noise that becomes muffled when i turn on the A/C.. The sound seems to be coming from under the alternator. does anyone know what it could be?? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
