My car stereo has power, but it doesn't give sound. Why?

I just installed an aftermarket stereo in my 1998 Saturn sl-2. The wires seem to be connected correctly. The stereo powers on and I can go through the options and everything, but there is no sound from the speakers.

Basically, if there was sound in your car before you mustve disconnected the wires incorrectly so remove  the wires and go by the color combination.  If this doesnt work your stereo is gone
