  1. I agree with Dude, all gas, (Regular, and Premium) are all unleaded.

If your car is timed for premium, you should keep burning premium, or your engine will lose some power and give a slight knocking noise---( Preignition).

You can time your vehical for regular unleaded, im not sure how to do that, but i know it is possible.  For a little money, take it into a shop and have a mechanic do it for you if you wish.

  2. yes it will run fine with no proplem what so ever the only diffrence between the three gases is the octane levle they have it wont harm ur engine by anyway using the unleaded i ve used it for my 2000 supercharged mustang wich u know that supercharged engines should run prem(93) and i raced it all the time with unleaded never had any proplem

  3. Its going to run like sh*t if you put regular in it

  4. You can put unleaded in it, but it will knock like crazy.   So, I had a Lincoln LS, cool little car, fast and held the road like my BMW, however they wanted Premium in it too, I never put premium in it, but I always used the middle grade.  NEVER HAD any problems, had the car for 4 years.  Gosh, I wish I still had it...she was a great car.

  5. Yes you can use regular unleaded. It should be fine. Most manufacturers recommend premium, (It's a higher octane). With premium you get better performance, so that's what they want. Try the regular, it will be fine. If you notice a great decrease in performance, stick to the premium. To answer your question, you will not hurt your car if you run the regular, it's a little cheaper too.

  6. Premium gasoline is NOT a performance improving fuel. The higher octane rating ONLY means it has a higher resistance to knocking. Knocking is more common in the higher compression engines, and this is why they say to use premium. Use premium, if you cannot afford it, buy a different vehicle.

  7. You might get by with putting in the med range gas. It has a little more octane than the regular....OBTW....all gas sold now is unleaded.

  8. No, it will **** up your engine. Especially since you have an older car that doesn't have knock sensors.

  9. Don't know where you live, but if you are in the US, they stopped putting lead in gas in 1996.  I think that "regular" gas vs. premium will be fine in your car, although it will impact the long term life of your vehicle and it won't run as good.  But I don't think it will destroy you car.
