My car turns over but wont start? (full story inside) Please help. 10 points best answer

Question

I went out to start yesterday and it would turn over but wouldnt catch. i had to ssit there for about 5 mins before i finally got it running. i figured it was just from sitting from the day before and the 8 hour drive the day before yesterday. anyways. I went out today and it did the same exact thing it would turn over but didnt catch. when i finally got it to catch the engine was sorta bouncy and the car emitted some blackish blueish smoke. yesterday the smoke was white. my check engine light is not on or anything the oil is fine? what could it be? Could it be spark plugs?

The car is a Sebring Jxi

sounds like you should get your exhaust and filter system checked.

and how long has it been since you had it serviced and checked the oils ?

I agree with ken48b the problem will only get worse untill it wont start at all. It is very simple to change
