  1. This happened to my girlfriend for awhile before her brakes went out and she crashed.

    GET THEM CHECKED OUT.

    PLEASE.

  2. Brake rotors are probably warped, or possibly the rack is loose.

  3. If your rotors or drums are worped you should feel the brake pedal pushing back on your foot.  If not try to narrow it dow to drive train, suspension, or tires.

  4. warped brake rotors

  5. engine is miss firing

  6. Brake rotors or drums, and make sure you NEVER go back to a mechanic who suggested replacing motor mounts for this problem!!!

    He's either incompetent or dishonest.

  7. if the vibration is during the braking, then the rotors are damaged more than likely. if the vibration is at a complete stop , then it could be quite a few things.

  8. If it vibrates thru the steering wheel and the whole car, it is the front brake rotors. If you don't feel it in the steering, then it could just be the rear brake rotors. Either way the brakes got hot because of some heavy stops or the rotors are getting too thin and are not dissipating the heat and have warped.

  9. if it happens when you are at a dead stop, and in idle, it could be your timimg belt

  10. Same thing happened to my car two months ago, replaced the brakes- and now its fine! Good luck!
