  1. You would file a claim under the comp coverage of your auto policy for any damage to the car. Your deductible will apply.

Any personal property that was stolen from the vehicle would be covered by your renters or homeowners insurance. Again your deductible would apply.

The hotel has no responsibility.  Just because your car was parked on their property when it was broken into- does not make them responsible.

The only person you could sue would be the thief.

  2. You are, unless you can prove that one of their employees assisted with or had prior knowledge of the break-in. The only "responsibility" that places like that have is that if they actually see the crime happening they are supposed to call the police, but that's it. If they discover the crime afterwards they are supposed to notify the guest if possible. So other than the first scenario, you're out of luck.

  3. .   Your insurance carrier.  There are probably 20 signs at the motel saying NOT RESPONSIBLE.

  4. The thief.

when you sign in at a motel you are signing that you will not hold them liable for anything that happens to your car while parked there.

  5. you are, its your car. and unless its an employee of the hotel that did the job, the hotel is not responsible

  6. Call your insurance company.  That situation would be no different if it happened in a school parking lot, or a mall, or an amusement park.  Your insurance company would be the one to call.  Did you check with the Comfort Inn to see if they had security cameras running?  You might want to check into that.  Good luck!

  7. You are

  8. Your insurance company.  The Inn is not at fault.

  9. Your car, your responsibility, regardless of where it is.

  10. Your car Insurence

  11. fraid its you-they got me but i fixed them-not gonna tell you how but sorry for your loss

  12. Im sorry but the hotels are not responsible for articles stolen on your car actually if you look around the parking lot they should have a sign

exposed somewhere stating that they are not responsible for stolen property on your vehicles.

  13. Sorry to hear that.  Unless the hotel did something like a valet left the door open or an employee 'accidentally' broke you window and left it like that without telling you, there is not much you can do.  They have to have acted  negligently.  An unseen jerk sneaking in and out is beyond there control.
