  1. Notify her insurance company to make sure she followed through on the report and to protect yourself, notify your insurance company to let them know who hit you.

  2. it is not likely to provide an perfect answer to this question, you should find it yourself.explore the resource here should be helpful.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  3. Nope, your insurance only matters if you are the one who was found at fault. Might raise your payments depending on your insurance provider's policy.

  4. Well, likely not.  They should just go ahead and pay your body shop.

  5. no, her insurance will pay you off no problems

  6. the level of cover you hold is irrelevant when you are the third party,,, by law to so much as open your car door you need at least third party insurance cover for your vehicle.

    - therefore you are covered by her insurance, since you in this case are the third party and she is at fault :)

However... NON FAULT accidents CAN raise your next years premium... my girlfriend was sitting at a set of traffic lights, somebody smashed into the back of her new car, put it through insurance (the other parties) it shows the likelyhood of her claiming damages on her insurance is higher (not just the fact of having an accident)... therefore the premium is higher...

if the other person is willing to pay for the repairs out of insurance sometimes this is more worthwhile for all parties... :)

(when i passed my test i ad a bit of a accident - handbrake incident :-$) cost me 130 quid to put right, and didnt effect my insurance :-) - as apposed to the 450 quid excess, loss of no claims, and having an accident listed on my insurance...
