My car was egged & the rear windshield wiper was broken off.I found out who did it what legal action do i take

definitely press charges and you could probably get them to pay for the damage that they did.

Did you call the police when the damage occurred? Do you have a police report from the date your car was egged?  You're going to need it when you file a small claims case against who you believe damaged your car.

Unless the police and prosecutor in your county are real bored, it is very doubtful they will tie up county money on a misdemeanor case.
