liable? it was there waiting to to have a glass repaired that they broke.

  1. Read the invoice you signed when you left the vehicle in their possession. That will tell you if they cover it or not.

  2. yeah they are... call ur insurance company and let them know whats up then i would contact an attorney... y did it take 2 month to repair glass that they broke?? thats crazy! good luck!!

  4. Report it to your insurance company.  They will do the work.  They have to...  If the car repair company does not pay they will have to.  The insurance company may pay you out anyway and pursue the repair company.

  9. They absolutely are liable. I own a body shop and we are responsible for the care and safe keeping of our customers cars while they are in our care. Legally they are to have insurance to cover their butts in case something like this happens.
