My car wont idle it sputters and dies i hooked up a diagnose machine it wont read the codes?

now my brother came by and it started right up no problem like nothing was wrong he drove around the block and then it stopped again wont idel same problems

You should use proper punctuation, it would help a lot. It sounds like a fuel flooding/throtle positioning problem. The throtle is perhaps too low.

Bad gas,  clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, all won't throw a code since it's not "engine related or ECU related problem.

Check the fuel filter.   Could be a clogged pickup sock in the gas tank if it's older and the gas tank has corrosion and crude in the tank.

Pull the fuel line at the engine and carefully crank it to see if gas comes out of the line.

But safer get it to a reputable shop to check it out.
