  1. Its either your battery, or your starter. if it makes no noise at all, I would have to say that its your battery, but I would have your battery, starter, and alternator checked.

  2. It sounds like your battery is flat, same thing has happened to my car a few times.  Try to jump start it, if you have the leads, if not you can get the Rolson jump start and air compressor, (worth every penny).  Check out the link below!!

  3. Battery.

    Flat

    Change

    Result

  4. Alternator?

  5. No gas..or, there is this part that makes a spark to start up the vehicle. Also, if you have dead battery, and you jumped it, try jumping it more. The battery will only start to recharge when the gas is running.

  6. maybe your tire pressure needs to be checked

    hahahaha....  sorry

check battery first, you may have a dead cell.  next is fuseable link.

  7. battery is dead, go get 1 at a car junk yard roughly 20pound or less.

  8. i love how all these girls can pinpoint the problem...hahaha

buy a new car bro, sounds like u got a lemon

  9. Erm, check to see if the vehicle has an engine

  10. battery flat or the fusible link

  11. flat battery

  12. Are you low on gas?   If the fuel filter is not clean, you may have trouble starting when the gas level is low.

  13. Battery's dead, dead, dead !!

  14. Jump start the car again and once the engine is going, keep the engine running for 20 minutes. After this time, drive it around to re-charge your battery.

Breakdown told me to do this a year ago. Did the trick.

  15. Fuseable link or a main fuse.

  16. Sounds like the battery is flat, or needs replacing. You can get it checked for free at most places. They only last for three years. If the battery is ok, but not charging, then it may be the alternator. You could buy a reconditioned one and fit it or get a garage to do it. If the ignition isn't working then you may need a new starter motor.

  17. batteries gone, or its disconnected, or your starter motors gone.

  18. loose battery connection blown  large 40amp ignition fuse

  19. batterys flat

  20. this happend to me a few days ago go to autozone and buy a new battery.

  21. It's the battery.  check the cable connections to make sure they are securely attached.  If so, try cleaning them with pepsi and scrubbing if there is corrosion.  If still doesn't work take the battery to an auto parts store and get it tested.  If battery is good, connection is good.  Then get your starter tested.

  22. Your battery is completely dead, therefore a new battery is required. However if the car worked yesterday you may have left the lights on or something in the car has drained the battery, either way the quickest way is to change the battery if you need the car or you could try recharging it but this will take some time.

  23. totally flat battery

  24. 1. check the battery terminals are connected correctly

    2. if it runs when you jump it then your battery is flat.

solution, recharge or replace the battery

    3. If it doesn't run when you jump it then it could be any number of problems from low tension to high tension systems, spark plugs, points...the list goes on.

    4. If it runs when you have recharged the battery and then the battery dies again the problem is with the alternator - this recharges the battery when the car is running - if the battry dies it means the alternator is not supplying a charge to the battery. you can get a replacement very easily for most cars.

  25. Perhaps a corroded or loose connection to one of the battery cables. Check Both ends of each one. If a jump didn't work then I'd suspect one of the ends going to the engine.

Also, some of these cables are fusible; they can go open circuit and provide no connection.

  26. if you connected another car to jump yours and still no lights/sounds when trying to start the car, then you have several things to check.

first, does the car have an alarm? it might be stopping the car from starting, although usually there are some lights when an alarm is engaged.

second you need to check fuses, most cars have 2 fuse boxes, and a main fuse near the main distribution box(that connects to the battery and has large cables going to it)

those are good places to start

  27. Dead battery or something could be wrong with the fuses. Or even something could be broken or cracked in the engine.

  28. you say you you jumped your car but nothing ? take it you mean jump leads .if so you had power of a good battery .so its not your battery .it is your starter motor.or the fusable link .ie fuses near the battery .that switch your starter over .could even be the lead from battery to starter broken .hope this helps ...

  29. Flat Battery.

    Ja.

  30. As trying to jump start it makes no difference it is not the battery, It could be the main fuse if your car has one(located near the battery on a thick cable), also it could be your ignition switch, if it's the ignition switch everything that you can do without the keys, such as turn the radio on, fans, sidelights, will work whilst hooked up to jump cables even if your battery is flat.

So to summarise it is either a bad ignition switch or a bad connection to the battery.

  31. your battery is flat, and its no good trying to jump it , you need to replace the battery or charge your one up for at least 12 hours, if your battery is that low on charge it will not allow the car to be jumped
