My carpet keeps moving! What should I do?

i have a carpet in my living room and it moves when we barely sit down or walk on it. What should i do?

Call a carpet installer or stretcher to stretch the carpet, cut off the excess and fasten it down again.

either buy a carpet pad that will keep it in it's place or buy some double sided tape.  I used rubberized shelf liner from walmart under my rug and that seems to work fine.

Buy double sided carpet tape and it is done.
