My carpeted stairs become a safety issue in the house.

Question

the tip of the stairs are getting round. People fall down from the stairs. I had new carpets 3 years ago on it. Making it wood stairs is expensive for me, is there a cheaper way to fix it? I find some stairs nose on the wood stairs to improve the safety, but are they ok for carpeted stairs?

stair grippers or plastic carpet runner anchored to stairs.

u should find a neighborhood handy man that u truely know and ask him to do it for u for less charge to get ur carpet stairs, :) good luck (:
