Question:

My cat's eyes - one bigger?

I woke up this morning and saw that my cat (who's 17) has one eye bigger than the other. His left eye is huge with the pupil dialated. The other is normal. Any ideas what this could be?? I'm trying to get ahold of our vet too.

Oh..he's been sneezing and drinking a lot. Thanks for your help.

  1. My immediate thought was a seizure.

In humans part of the face droops. This may be the case with your cat.

    He's so old.

You NEED to take him to the vet, please. =)

  2. mabey hes got flu

  3. this is definately a medical issue, and absolutely positively should be seen by a vet.

I've seen it in kittens who have some sort of brain or neurological issues.

Hopefully your vet can figure it out quickly and give you a treatable issue to deal with.

Congrats on having a 17 yr old cat! that's great
