It's a real cute name. When I first adopted my cat the shelter had named her mittens, because she has an extra finger on both of her front paws and she looks like she has mittens on. I saw her beautiful green eyes before I saw her mittens and I decided to call her Aurora.

My mother in law was going to name her cat that, we call her Mitsey. That is now her name, Mitsey. The name Mittens is long gone.
