My cat's tail has a bump?

My cat's tail has a white pimple like bump on his tail that seems to hurt if you touch it, Does anyone know what this is and what can be done?

it could be a abscess and if it is you need to go to the vet and they will have to lance it and drain it.  And abscess is an infection and needs to be treated so don't wait go to the vet.

wow you have a lot of pet questions. well with a white sore on his tail i would have to agree with others that it may be an abscess it also maybe a massive infection to a wound either way take the cat to the vet and have them look at it. you don't want it to get any worse than it is.
