My cat BOOMER,for several days now has been eating and seveval minutes later will vomit his food up in a long?

solid chunk...seems to be more affectionate in the last few days also...as a rule hes a to himself cat....and about a year ago I lost a cat(stup)..short for stupid..cause he was as a kitten..but boom seems to be following the same symtoms...love boom and want to help him....anything to help..please.......boom...short for boomerang...always comes back........many thanx

Are you feeding your cat unhealthy food like something really spoilish food something like that? because if you are then the cat will love its food and eat it too quickly then vomit it because he ate it so fast also unhealthy food can make your cat obese i recomend you get healthyer food and also take your cat to a vet.

If he is vomiting up whole pieces of food, then he is probably eating the food too quickly and not chewing it at all.  You may want to spread out his food on a flat surface, like a cookie sheet.  This way he will have to pick up each kibble separately and chew it before he moves onto the next kibble.  

You may also want to check with your vet just to rule out any other possibilites.  Good luck!!

Call your vet, he/she is the best person to handle this, because he might have a medical condition the vet must handle.

My cat was doing the same thing and the vet told me to switch his food.  I now feed him science diet sensitive stomach and it has helped.  He still does it from time to time but it is not as severe as it was.  You should still take him to the vet just to make sure everything is ok.

He could be overgurging himself at meals and throwing it back up, or he could be sick. My best advice is to take him to a vet right away, it could be something more serious.
