My cat LOVES q-tips?

Question

it's the only thing he will lay with. Every time he sees one he goes nuts! Why is this? Is anyone elses cat like this?

My cat also loves them.  Had to buy new trashcans because he would dig them out and drag them all over my apartment.  So gross!

My bf's cat does that too.  She also has a thing for twist ties.  She has been known to attack a closed loaf of bread for the twist tie, haha.

Not sure why, but my cat loves them too!  I have to hide them, or he will grab them and take off.  If I accidentally leave them out, they will be all over my bathroom floor the next morning!

My cat also loves to play with q-tips.....beware.  Chewing on the cotton tip and eating the fibers can create a problem.  My cat would vomit piles of cotton pulled from the q-tips.  I guess it could also cause an intestinal obstruction if enough was ingested and not vomited.  She also likes to chew on cardboard.

Gee are your cat and my cat related? I adopted my cat from pet smart a while ago and he is normal in every sense of the word but he has this thing for q-tips. If he finds one he chews on it, plays with it, and it seems to just make his day?? Who knows. I asked my vet and he said maybe he had a tooth ache, but we checked and all seems normal. I guess its just his little fetish that he will never get over. Glad my cat is not alone in this strange behavior! Good luck!

One of my cats loved them.  I had to buy a jar with a lid because she would jump on the counter and pull them out of the open jar with her teeth so she could play with them.

All of my cats love Q-Tips. It is quite normal. They are small enough to be carried around and they are easily picked up by little paws. Perfect for playtime!

My cat Pebbles love to play with the wand part too.  Rubs on it and moves the q-tip around,  I'd put 1/2 of it under the rug or paper bag and she just loves to move it around.  Just adorable.  I pick it up when she's done(?) cause I don't want her to carry it off to who knows where!
