  1. No, not normally.

I wouldnt get all worried. It wil be fine. If her attitude changes or even eating habits keep an eye on her. If things get bad consult a vet.

Thats only if something bad comes across. She/He should be fine.

  2. she will probably barf, but i have never heard of it hurting them

  3. just let her throw it up and she will be good

  4. Cats eat all sorts of stuff. My cat ran away for 2 1/2 weeks and was running streets eating who knows what. He  hasn't even throw up a bit yet. i just trapped him this morning. If true butter as long as cat doesn't have an allergy to milk (which some do) he or she will be fine, if margarine will be fine. Either way, he or she might throw up a little (totally normal for a cat, what they do when stuff doesn't agree with them like humans). besdies that make sure u clean litter box frequently cause will be going alot more often and you won't have a problem with hair balls for a little while. I used to give my cats olive oil when they were throwing up hair balls alot. Works great, no bad effects.

  5. No Sweetie, she shouldn't get sick if she only had a little. As a matter of fact I have a cat that loves butter and I will put some on my finger and she licks it off. I have been told by my vet that butter in small amounts can also help with hairballs and also help make their coat shiny so my Binky gets some about every week or two. So no I think your baby will be just fine, although if you give them to much it can possibly give them the poo's so just give a little. Good luck and don't worry. Your baby is going to be just fine

  6. She may throw up or have diarrhea, depending on her stomach's tolerance. Some cats can handle dairy products, some can't. If she's a kitten and gets sick to her stomach, then you have to worry about her being dehydrated. An adult cat, I wouldn't really worry about.

  7. How much did she eat?  If it was a whole stick then watch her to see if she gets sick (and if she gets really sick, take her to the vet), but if it was a few licks, it's no big deal.  I give my cats a wee dab every now and again for a treat.

  8. It depends on how much butter she ate. Too much butter isn't good for us either. I don't think so, but you can call your vet to find out any information about it. A little bit of butter won't do any harm really. If she ate like an entire stick of butter, then that will be too much oil and whatever for a cat to handle.
