i dont know what happened to him in the last few days.. he just attacks everyone in the house that tries to play with him or pet him or anything .. and not any kind of attack one time his claws were in my arm skin ( made holes) started bleeding , he was soo madd that i thought he was gonna kill me.. now my arms look scary

anyways.. i dont know what to do .. if my mother sees my arms shell make me get rid of him.. she already cant stand him ..

and does that have anything to do with the fact that hes about 9 months and still not spayed??

or the fact that he keeps looking at this cat outside the balcony and everytime we take him inside he goes crazy lol

i dont know i need hellppp

  1. Neutering will help calm him down and it will also be better for his long term health as you'll be eliminating the risk of him developing certain forms of cancer later on life.

Sometimes if a cat is agitated by something it sees, but cannot get at, they lash out in frustration at whomever is nearest at the time.  This is probably what is happening when you bring him inside from the balcony.  Cats are territorial (more so if they're not fixed) and can be very angry at the thought of another cat muscling in on their turf.

This link has information about different types of aggressive behaviour (sometimes it's over enthusiastic playing) and how to treat them.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Owners usually get mad when their pets misbehave. But they are vague in telling their pets that they are mad. When owners reprimand their pets for misbehaving, cats think that their owners just want to play with them.

Owners must be clear with their reactions. If their pets misbehave, owners would make it clear that it is a punishment and not a game.

Remember that cats seek reward. They avoid punishment. Do not make misbehaving enjoyable to your cat by giving it a lot of attention when it happens.

By associating punishment for misbehaving cats learn what should not be done.

  3. It could be the way he's treated. He may either want to be left alone and or he's jealous or something---yes it's possible and it could be because of the other cat. And not to mention if he's not spayed he could be having "urges" especially if its a female cat that is lurking around. But when you think about it, it could be anything that is upsetting him;;maybe food, his environment he's living in. Maybe get some toys that he can enjoy by himself and then just slowly begin to play with him if he's seems content. Best toys: noisy balls, or catnip stuffed toys. =) Hope this helps.

  4. He needs to be checked out by a vet. Cats can develop mental illnesses, just like people.  The vet can give him calming medication in any case.

  5. I'd get him castrated (neutered), he is being tempremental he wants to go outside but its a bad idea if he is un-neutered. As he will stray and could get lost or he will fight a lot.

My females got like this I got them spayed and they are completly different cats, very loving and close by me.
