  1. buy her some toys and try 2 get her 2 play with them

  2. Cats can be strange sometimes.  It may not be that he doesn't like you.  He may just be content being left alone.  Give him treats and toys to play with.  And make sure to have a clean liter box and plenty of food and water available at all times.  Then let him come to you.  When he wants attention or to be petted he will let you know.  My cat can be the same way.  I just let her make the choice of when to socialize with me.

  3. Cats are very regal creatures. Unlike dogs that wag their tails and jump around when they see you, cats are cool and aloof. They say that you should not go overboard in giving attention to your cat. But if you feel like touching your pet, use the back of your hand to touch their face. This shows you are not going to attach them and they immediately would feel at ease

  4. Well.... in order for us to answer this fully-- we need to know what the kitty is doing, and what you are presently doing about it. So...tell us...<:-)

I've never had a cat that didn't like me-- some cats aremore pleasant than others but they all have a good side.

Tuna is ok in SMALL servings-- it is not partiuclarly good for a cat unless it is actually tuna cat food.

Regular cat food like Fancy Feast is tasty and good for her -- if you can afford better, than try l**k Your Chops or PetGuard.

Milk is BAAAD for a cat-- diareeah and stomach upset.

CATSIP is good milk for a cat -- get it in the petfood section.

  5. Well, cats are very independent animals (pets).  They have selective hearing.  You could call him till you are blue in the face - - if he feels like coming when called, good -- if not, so be it.

Animals (pets) can usually sense if you like them or dislike them or even have fear of them.  The way you worded (asked) your question you don't sound overly concerned?

Obviously, you can't force him to like you.  I would say just be yourself, not overbearing, a little gentle, and maybe try a little more affection.

    Good luck.

  6. cats are very curious.  if you're reading a book (lying down) they'll want to jump on your chest and put their cat buts in your face so they can see what you're doing (and get petted usually).  If you're typing on the computer, they'll jump on the desk in front of the screen (see above).

Cats usually don't like to be treated like dogs, in the sense they don't like when you call their names and say "here boy/girl" and do the baby talk thing (not all cats, just most i've ever met hate this).  when meeting a new cat, i usually let them sniff the back of my hand, then i'll move to pet them.  if they jerk away, i leave them alone.  I'll do this a couple of times until they let me pet them.

if you're pro catnip, then that works sometimes.  however, some people are very against catnip so do your research.

but yeah, so long as you don't patronize the cat it'll indulge you.  on a side note, huskies are very much the same way, and do NOT like to be patronized.

  7. Trade him in for a dog.

  8. Well, i guess you could give it tuna or milk every once and a while. We have a cat with anger problems and when we give her milk or tuna, she seems happier. So, i guess i would try that.

  9. Wink at him slowly and offer the back of your hand to him so he'll smell it and then pet him. Play with him more often. For a few days, if you have the time, only feed him when he meows at you for food. Eventually he will understand that he depends on you for food and he will obey you more often because of it.

Obviously if he hasn't meowed at you all day and you're going to sleep, put food in the tray anyway so he doesn't starve. But while you're awake and in the house, only feed him when he meows at you.

  10. did you do anything to him? just give him treats play with him and pet him.
