  1. if its a problem and you dont want them to get hurt make them indoor cats

  2. You aren't going to be able to stop cats from fighting, the only way is to keep your cats indoors.

  3. Please consider making them indoor cats, it is so much safer for them and you will be spared a problem with the neighbours.

  4. Since you refuse to take the steps required to keep these cats separated there is nothing that I can do to help you. You are responsible for the safety and the well being of your own animals.

  5. Once territory is sorted out then the fighting will stop or at least die down.  All my neighbourhood cats get along ok (well they ignore each other most of the time!).  Occasionally there will be the odd fight.  If you see the cats fighting, squirt water at them.  It doesn't hurt, they don't know where the water is coming from and it distracts them enough to stop fighting.  Keep an eye on injuries as an abscess could result from the fighting.

  6. YOU ARE A BIG IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why would you call your loving father a big jerk.

why don't you get a playpen for your kittens and away from your neighbor cat. like work it out with your not along neighbor. that cat of their is not obediant and send it to the at obediant school.

  7. Your cats are territorial. They were there first and don't appreciate the new cat's presence. The best thing to do is let nature take it's course. Eventually one of the cats(either yours or the neighbors) will back down. If it gets to serious, I don't know what to tell you but that's apart of what you have to deal with having outdoor cats.

  8. ...you have to throw water on the other cat, they are hard to hit with water, so be very clever and careful not to be seen (by neighbor or cat)

...eventually the territorial disputes among the cats will settle

...the water will help keep the other cat in it's own yard

...i have also used my water hose and a spray nozzle, once you can see the escape routes of the other cat, then you know where your best opportunities are to get the cat wet

....many 'tom cats' need to sprayed several times, before they will change their mind and find better territory

....everyone here can thumb me down....but if a cat is scratching my cat, i throw water on them .......sometimes i even stay up very very late at night waiting for the 'other cat to come sneaking around hoping to mark the territory'.....and then hahahahahah, SURPRISE!

  9. It will kill them to stay outside too, dogs, mean humans, cars, coyotes, many things will end their life early, average age for an out door cat is only 18 months from my last research.  YOUR cats will get puss filled abscess from other cat scratches this will cost money your dad wont pay for from the looks of it SO SAD, when you have a pet you need to protect it!!!! KEEP THEM INDOORS!!

  10. What is the point of having an outdoor pet?  Pets need climate control and the companionship of their people.  They need to be protected from bullies and cars.  Your kitties should be inside both for your sake and theirs.
