  1. I'm sorry, but it is EXTREMELY unlikely that he will survive. Cats often do so much damage in the initial bite(s) that a small animal won't survive. I would call a wild animal rescue in the area if you have one, possibly a vet. If you have neither of those, try returning it to the wild. It's not true that they will always be rejected if they were touched by humans. I used to believe it as well, but it's not true, according to the things I'll link in the source. Of course, there is a slight risk, but in general, no.

  2. When I was a child, we had a couple of rabbits (which soon turned into lots of rabbits, if you know what I mean).  I was told that once a human touches a baby rabbit, the mother will reject that baby, since it now has human scent on it.  I'm not sure if that's really true, but it's what I was told, and I know some other animals are like that.  If I were you, I'd call Animal Control to see what they'd advise.  If the mother rabbit will reject it, it will likely starve to death even if you do put it back with its mother, so it will probably have to be taken to a shelter.  Or you could always keep it as your own pet, if that's feasible.  If you decide to do that, check with a vet to find out the proper care of a rabbit, and always be watchful when your cat is around the rabbit.  Best of luck!

  3. Try to find the rabbit nest and put it back... right away!

If you're unable to find the nest, then contact a local wildlife rescue.  They will take the baby in and raise it until it's old enough to be released back into the wild.
