  1. It okay.. don't panic!!!!

I know you can't go to the vet now... but if you can later... go.

Do not use any human ointments or medications on your cat. If the cat licks them it can be toxic.

Fire ants are not lethal. Well, not just one or two bites anyway. Really, your just dealing with pain and discomfort. Try icing the wound with a cold cloth or ice bag. if the cat won't sit still for it, don't panic. Try to do it in one minute interval. It could be just enough to help ease her/his pain.

After a day of doing this, check the wound. If it does not look infected, your fine. If it does, you will need to go to a vet.

Call your local ASPCA if you need to talk to someone live about this. They will be able to advise you better.

    Good Luck!

  2. Would you go to the dr. if you got bit by a fire aunt?  I would not take it unless it is a kitten or got more that 5 or so bites.

  3. hmm,put some antibotic cream on the area.

if you can't take him too the vet(witch i tottaly understand,$'s tight)

Try using google, see what it says you should do.

or call a random veet and see what they recommend.

    good luck.

  4. put neosporin on the wound and watch her..if she starts to vomit or stops eating/drinking, you will have to take her to a vet..

  5. find someone who will take your cat to the vet  and you may want to call an exterminator to rid your house of these ants.
