My cat got fixed and isn't eating?

I just got my 2 year old female cat fixed, yesterday. Brought her home at 3 pm. It is now 9:30 pm (the day after she was fixed) The pamplet that the vet gave us said that she should have our appitite back by now, but she isn't eating or drinking at all. What should I do? Is this alright?

i would give the vet a call, just to be safe. :)

Give it time. If she doesn't eat in two days call the vet. A tricked that always worked on my cat was pretend to fill up the dish. She might want attention and "fresh" food ; )

CALL THE VET!!!!  She should at least be drinking water if anything.  My cat had an infection in her encision and still at least drank.  Something is not right.

your cat may not have an appetite as yet. How long has it been and does it  have a cone over its head?
