  1. You shouldn't ever bring your cat outside,

and whenever you leave your house try to not

keep the door open long. If you just bring him/her out

to show them the world it's not like they want to

go in because they are afraid, they want to explore the outdoors.

If you don't take him/her out he/she hopefully will get used to staying

    inside.

    I hope I helped!!!

  2. A non-mean way to get a cat from going outside...

Have someone stand by the door while another stands off to the side. Have the person open the door slightly, most cats will dart towards and open/ing door, and take a squirt bottle full of water and spray the cat. Repeat this until the cat realizes what is going to happen if they go near the door. A few friends of mine and I myself have used this technique and it works every time. Good Luck and I hope this helped!

  3. if you really don't want him going out just make sure someone is holding him everytime you open the door. my fist cat ran away when my gandma open the door once. and my other one hates going outside

  4. It's natural for cats to want to be out and about ... and an open window or door is an ideal opportunity ..... if you just don't want your cat to go out (to be a house cat or because he is ill) then you must be extra careful not to let him out .... if on the other hand you don't want him to get out because you are afraid he might run off or get hurt - then buy him a cat harness!  I bought my cat one (he's only just four months old)  - it has a collar linked to a chest strap and the lead is clipped to the chest strap - because I don't want mine to run off and go off elsewhere, he hasn't completed his jabs and he's still too little to just be running all over the place - so he's got a harness, tied to a bit of rope for extra length, tied to the washing pole .... now he can be outside in the fresh air (he can get on the grass and he can go and lie down in the shade when it's a bit too warm for him - he has his food and water bowls outside with him) .... but I have the peace of mind I can find him again, that I know he's ok .....

    :)
