  1. cats love flowing water so get a drink well pet fountain.

  2. GO BACK to his old water bowl.

You might take him to the vet... a symptom of kidney problems is not drinking water.

Also a homeopathic remedy you might try is either camomile tea ...put some in the water... or go to the health food store and get some Bach Remedies... Rescue remedy.  it's for stress (animal/ human) put a drop in his water.

More importantly take him to the vet.

  3. Take him to the vet if it lasts more than one day, dehydration can lead to death very quickly. If it is and aluminum or metal bowl many cats won't drink out of them as it actually imparts a taste to the water. The fountain drinking bowls  are really wonderful. Try the cat near a low flowing tap in your bathroom sink or tub, cats are attracted to running water.

  4. take him to the vet and go back to his old water bowl.

  5. vet.

try putting water on his front paws. he should l**k it off, and swallow the water.

  6. There are several types of bowls especially from China and Japan that are not good for the cats.  Try to keep a close watch on the cat and go back to the other bowl.

If no water within about 12 hours after moving to the old bowl I would say you need to be at the vet.
