My cat got this green like puss out of his butt what is wrong?

My sister wanted me to google it but I didn't really didn't find anything.. Do cats have glands as do dogs? Its not really infected on the outside. And doesn't seem to bother him. My mom squeezed his butt hold after seeing stuff came out. And it squirted everywhere. I know its gross but whatever keeps us from paying a vet bill

Call a vet. Green pus indicated infection. If the anal glands are impacted and they are infected, he will need to be seen. Contact the ASPCA with a clinic or other humane society in your area and they can work with you at adjusted cost or no cost. Also contact some rescue organizations who may be able to help. If you need phone numbers, look in the phone book or call PetSmart as they work with many of these organizations.  Best wishes.

Chris, yes...cats do have anal glands too.  The green puss likely is an infection and will require antibiotics and need to be expressed probably again to clear up an impaction.  Call several vets in the area and ask them that you have a stray pet visiting you and if there's any charitable vets or organizations who can lend some funds to help out.  Most often someone will know who can help you and the kitty.  

If the cat is also un-neutered there are shelters that offer low cost (sometimes even free) neuter.  Call 800-SPAY USA to find a shelter in your area.

PLEASE go to the vet, probably a parasite inside of your pets stomache. get a stool sample as well.
